Dennis Murphy is a CPA and is also a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA). He has more than thirty years of experience in a full range of services including: forensic accounting, financial management, tax planning, internal auditing, certified audits, due diligence, cash flow planning, reorganization plans, asset evaluation, pro forma five year financial statements, and preparation of tax returns. In addition, he has served successfully as a receiver, a bankruptcy trustee, a conservator, a business manager, and as a member of Boards of Directors. He is a member of the Superior Court Panel of Receivers; he is currently serving as a Chapter 7 Trustee on a case in the United States Bankruptcy Court, Central District of California; and he is serving as a receiver in U.S. District Court (at the request of the SEC).


Mr. Murphy is a Professor Emeritus of Accounting at California State University, Los Angeles; he has served on the Pasadena Citizens' Finance Committee; he is serving on the Boards of Directors of the Rose Bowl, the Rose Bowl Aquatics Center and the Hillsides Education Center; he has served as court-appointed accountant on more than 500 bankruptcy cases; and he is licensed as a California Real Estate Broker.


His education includes an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Michigan, an M.B.A. in Taxation from Golden Gate University, and a B.A. in Accounting from Michigan State University. He is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma (national business honor society).
